Full Review of Coffee on the Crescent

I have popped in this coffee shop many times throughout the 4 years of living in Leeds. Usually it would be to get a takeaway cappuccino on a sunny walk around Hyde Park.

With a pretty interior design, and tasty coffee and small bites, it’s a place you’ll wanna pop by and try.

Most recently, I came here to sit in on a rainy day with some friends. I tried the matcha latte with vanilla syrup, as if you don’t know by now, I am really trying to like matcha.  I also asked what good gluten free food they do and one of the servers showed all the gluten free sweet treats they offer, (mostly being the brownies). He also showed me their allergen book as he stated this is procedure so I can be sure it does not contain gluten. And I very much appreciated his care in this!

Gluten free brownie and cappuccino

This image above shows the brownie and my friends cappuccino. With carefully designed barista art and a gooey with a hard crust top brownie, what else do you need?

I have a strong sweet tooth as well, and the brownie hit just right!

Matcha Latte

The image above shows the matcha latte which I had. I did enjoy this however, from all matcha lattes it wasn’t too sweet and had a more grassy flavour. And maybe that is what matcha is supposed to taste like, but in my journey of trying to enjoy matcha, I do prefer it sweet.
