Ohannes Burger is definitely a must-try for coeliacs!
When creating Eats Without Wheat, I never imagined I’d write a blog about any fast food restaurant, usually I immediately dismiss them. Most fast food places don’t cater for gluten free diets, and I don’t typically trust them, even if they claim that they do. However, Ohannes Burger is a fast food restaurant in Salford, and they stated that their fries and some burgers are gluten free, as long as you ask for a gluten free bun! Even McDonalds doesn’t offer us coeliacs a gluten free bun!
That said, I still wasn’t expecting much, as normally gluten free burger buns are dry and fall apart. But this burger was delicious. I had the pulled beef burger and fries, and it went above my expectations!
My partner had the Buttermilk Chicken Burger (not gluten free), which he stated was really nice with lots of flavour, and had a high quality bun and chicken. So, Ohannes Burgers offers great quality with and without the gluten!
